hello!

my name is coco dayo and i just made a game in 10 hours called iron thumb!

let me describe iron thumb:

- cozy farming game 🌱 🗡️ 

- lite turn-based battles 🧙 

- gambling 🎰 

it’s a super simple game made in RPG Maker. it has original music (made by me) that you can jam out to while you sell your products to your customers.

i made this game for the eSh*p Slop Jam, which i had found out with only 16 hours remaining!

i started working on it around 5pm, then uploaded it on itch around 3am.

i’m super super tired, since i’m actually an early bird. my body clock got cooked 😪 

the best part about developing iron thumb was figuring out the gameplay loop. while there isn’t really much, i got to learn a lot about this type of game genre. i could potentially expand on this game too, since i learned so much about balancing and how to match all the different mechanics together.

i’m still DYING from the crazy crunch time, but once i’m recovered, i’ll update the game page to credit all the plugins i used, the tileset asset i used, and upload all the music i used in this game for free!

yes, i would consider this game slop, but it’s passionate slop! i love the idea so much and i’d love to expand on the game with updated custom graphics, and better balancing.
